Richard Longmire has been in mortgage lending since 1992 — and has been recognized as a leading branch manager for thirty of those years. He started as a loan officer at Coast Capitol Corporation in Mountain View, moved to Lodi in 1999, and founded Capitol Mortgage, where a focus on government lending earned him a lasting reputation among clients and real estate professionals for getting hard files done right.
His practice grew through several chapters — Capitol Mortgage became a retail branch of Alpine Mortgage in 2011, then operated under Finance of America Mortgage from 2016 — before Richard brought his team to Eureka Mortgage Planning in June 2025. As EVP, Director of Sales, he pairs high-level production with hands-on leadership: the standard he sets is the one he still originates by.
Richard works closely with homebuyers, homeowners, real estate agents, and referral partners — clear guidance, strong communication, and financing structured to the client, not the other way around. Whether it’s a first home, a move-up purchase, or a refinance worth doing (he’ll tell you if it isn’t), his goal hasn’t changed since 1992: take great care of people, and the rest follows.
